Here is what I've got done on my bluebird painting so far. I have a base layer of all colors and now I will start putting in details and depth in the birds and house and will add more color to the background.
Looks great so far Judy, will be watching as you add more details. I've never even tried watercolours so it will be interesting to see how you work a piece through to the end.
Hi Karie and Paola, thank you both for your compliments on my bluebirds. I'm hoping to paint more tomorrow. Karie, I don't work with watercolors, I work with oils. What I use now is water soluable oils and I love them. BTW, what do you both use, I'm thinking that you Karie us pastels and Paola uses acrylics?? Am I right?
I am a professional wildife and nature artist. I paint wildlfe, flowers, birds, farm animals, amphibians, moths, butterflies and country scenes. My paintings may be purchased through my website.
